Embryo Donation International, P.L., (EDI) started performing embryo donation in 2001 through Specialists In Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, P.A., (SRMS). It became clear that the types embryo donation programs available to patients in the U.S. and overseas were quite limited and we wanted to expand the opportunities for patients. We separated from SRMS expanding our program in 2011. EDI is one of the longest running and most experienced embryo donation facilities in the U.S.A.
Embryo Donation International’s mission is encourage embryo donation while reducing the number of cryopreserved embryos discarded or abandoned, help to match patients to embryos in a fair and ethical fashion while trying to provide the largest selection of donated embryos we can to patients wanting to build families. We are a full-service cost-effective embryo donation center serving embryo donors and recipients with care and compassion regardless of race, religion, ancestry, sexual preference or marital status.
Our philosophy not based on religion but is based the ethical belief that embryos deserve a heightened level of respect and a chance, wherever possible, at life. Likewise, we feel that patients with few other options deserve a chance to become parents though embryo donation.
