Biography

Denise Noyer-Erez, a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Oriental Medicine, is licensed and board certified in acupuncture and Oriental reproductive medicine.  She completed her Master’s of Science and clinical internship in Oriental Medicine at Emperor's College in Santa Monica.

She received further training in acupuncture at the International Acupuncture Academy in Beijing, China.  Denise also has completed extensive postgraduate training in reproductive wellness including; TCM Gynecology, fertility, support for IVF/IUI, pre and postnatal care, menopause and pelvic pain.

Her practice is devoted to fertility and reproductive wellness and she works closely with obstetrician/gynecologists, reproductive endocrinologists, urologist and other physicians and specialists.  Denise is committed to approaching each patient individually and compassionately with a holistic approach to medicine.  Her passion is “For the Wellness of Women” and she is grateful and proud to practice this form of medicine to assist women and their partners to achieve optimal health and wellness on their journey to creating a family.

Dr. McCarthy-Keith earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also a Master of Public Health in maternal and child health from the University of North Carolina. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

During her fellowship, Dr. McCarthy-Keith’s research focused on the molecular mechanisms of uterine fibroid regulation. She has special interests in fertility evaluation, uterine fibroids and reproductive health disparities. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications on reproductive and infertility topics and has presented her research nationally.

Prior to joining GRS, Dr. McCarthy-Keith practiced general obstetrics and gynecology in Virginia and South Carolina. Most recently, she engaged in the evaluation of patients with reproductive endocrine and fertility disorders at the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. McCarthy-Keith was a lieutenant commander in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and held the position of assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Dr. McCarthy-Keith is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
