Biography

Bob Bamman, LCSW, is a clinical social worker and a longstanding professional member of the American Fertility Association-Mental Health Group.  In that capacity he has helped develop the national phone coaching group program and has facilitated workshops and coaching groups addressing the emotional challenges of infertility, assisted/donor reproduction, and adoption.

Specialized clinical training includes infertility/adoption training at the Karen Horney Institute, the Center for Family Connections (Cambridge), and the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy.  A veteran of the infertility experience and an adoptive parent, Bob maintains a private practice located in mid-Manhattan working with couples, men, and women experiencing family building challenges.  Bob also provides adoption consultation services and New York State mandated pre-adoption Homestudy services.

She has been the keynote speaker at several Resolve symposia, and a presenter at the professional meetings of the American Psychological Association, The American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Organon Nurses Symposia and Kaiser Hospitals.
