Biography

Amy R. Criniti, MD joined the medical team of Seattle Reproductive Medicine in 2006, immediately following completion of her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Criniti quickly established herself as an integral part of SRM's assertive approach to treating patients with challenging infertility conditions.

Dr. Criniti has participated in and presented published research on fertility topics as varied and complex as fertility options for HIV discordant couples, oocyte maturation, ultrasound use in gynecological surgery, and single embryo transfer in IVF. Having earned recognition for both teaching and clinical excellence as a Medical Student and Resident, Amy Criniti, MD has developed expertise in patients with age-related infertility, multiple sclerosis and fertility issues, premature ovarian failure (POF), and polycystic ovarian disease, or PCOS. She is Board Certified in both Ob-Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Criniti completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University, achieved her MD at Indiana University School of Medicine, and then moved to Washington where she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and REI Fellowship at the University of Washington.

André L. Denis, MD, MPH, a founding partner of Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine, received his undergraduate education with honors at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and also fulfilled the requirements of a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology during this time. Following his time at Hopkins, Dr. Denis was awarded a medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1986.

Dr. Denis subsequently completed his Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility under Luigi Mastroianni, Jr., MD, a nationally recognized physician and author in the reproductive field, at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Denis remained at Pennsylvania Hospital to serve in several faculty positions where he earned the distinguished Teacher of the Year Award for his accomplishments.

Dr. Denis is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His keen interest of in vitro fertilization has culminated into nationally recognized abstracts including the incidence of hyperprolactinemia during stimulation and its effect on the outcome of in vitro fertilization. He is also noted for his work in documenting antiphospholipid antibodies and their effect on pregnancy rates and outcome in IVF patients. As a prominent speaker, Dr. Denis has been invited to lecture and present his ongoing research findings and publications at respected clinical meetings around the world. He is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology, and is an elected fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Biography

Andrea is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a speciality in assisted reproduction which includes mental health assessments and evaluation of egg donors and surrogates.

Andrea received undergraduate degrees in International Relations and French from the University of Southern California.  She continued her education at U.S.C. and received her Masters degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.

Andrea has more than 19 years of clinical experience working in the mental health fields.  Her early training began in the field of Geriatrics, where she established a geriatric case management program for the City of Beverly Hills.  She has also had extensive experience working in an inpatient psychiatric facility where she was able to strengthen her testing and diagnostic skills.

Andrea’s focus on assisted reproduction stemmed from her own personal experience with infertility over 14 years ago when she was beginning her family.  Since that time, Andrea has had three children, two with methods of assisted reproduction.  Her past and personal experience provides her with the knowledge to skillfully assess prospective egg donors and surrogates.  It also provides her with the compassion to provide support and guidance to individuals pursuing assisted reproduction.   She continues her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of both the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Fertility Association and Resolve.  Andrea was the past Psychological Chairperson on the board of directors for the Egg Donation and Surrogacy Professional Association.  She now serves on the advisory board of Parents Via Egg Donation.
