Dr. Joshua U. Klein is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and fertility specialist who leads RMA of New York’s Brooklyn office. Dr. Klein specializes in treating infertile couples using both basic and advanced technologies.

He has extensive clinical and research experience in all aspects of fertility, including the treatment of reproductive and ovarian aging, reproductive disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and the integration of clinical, genetic, and molecular data to improve IVF outcomes. Dr. Klein is also a skilled reproductive surgeon, and is well respected for his compassionate patient care.

Dr. Klein earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He served as Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, and his residency program was subsequently featured in the 2010 ABC mini-series “Boston Med.” Dr. Klein completed his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Klein has received numerous awards for his academic accomplishments and medical research. He was selected as a biomedical research fellow in the prestigious Darnell Laboratory at Rockefeller University in New York City. Dr. Klein was awarded the Harvard OB/GYN Resident Teaching Award, and as Chief Resident, was honored by the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Midwifery Group for his efforts as a consulting physician. He has also been recognized as a "Top Doc" by Health Magazine.

Dr. Klein is an accomplished lecturer and author and has written numerous scientific research articles and book chapters in leading medical journals and textbooks. He has presented many of his research findings at national meetings, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He has also written widely for general audiences in publications including Health Magazine, CNN.com, US News and World Report, the Boston Globe, the Huffington Post, and Livestrong.com. Dr. Klein is also the founding editor of Fertility Reviews, an online journal reviewing the latest research and developments in fertility and IVF.

Biography

Judith Hoechst's law practice is devoted to reproductive law. A former pediatric and neonatal intensive care nurse and medical malpractice attorney, she changed the focus of her law practice to assisted reproductive technology (ART) law after a gestational surrogate carried her son in 2004. Experienced in drafting and reviewing surrogacy contracts, egg/sperm/embryo donation contracts, obtaining parentage orders, and acting as liaison between intended parents and birth hospitals, she works diligently with her clients so that the legal process of each ART journey is completed with confidence. Judith has been admitted to the State Bars of Ohio, New Mexico and Colorado.

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is the fertility counselor and psychotherapist for the Continuum Reproductive Center. She talks with individuals and couples, helping them deal with the life crisis of infertility, and the emotional roller coaster that they may be going through.

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is a board-certified diplomate in clinical social work, a professional member of the American Fertility Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the National Association of Social Work, and the American Association for Psychoanalytic Clinical Social Work. After graduating with a Master’s of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, Ms. Greenwald worked for 14 years at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where she was a social worker, supervisor and assistant director of social work. Her areas of specialization have included women’s health, male fertility, OB/GYN, teen pregnancy, and adult and child psychiatry. She also developed a program for parents or other caregivers who have difficulty with bonding and attachment to their children from birth to four years old.

Prior to being a social worker, Ms. Greenwald was a medical journalist for Medical World News, a weekly news magazine for doctors that covered all areas of medicine. She attended the annual meetings of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she wrote articles specializing in women’s health, including birth control, pregnancy, gynecologic oncology, endometriosis, postpartum depression and menopause. She has also written women’s interest articles published in Harper’s Bazaar and Today’s Health.

For the last 30 years, Ms. Greenwald has been in full-time private practice as a fertility counselor and psychotherapist working with individuals and couples, helping them cope with the emotional roller coaster encountered by many people during infertility treatments. Fifteen years ago, she received her Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis.

Gestational carrier and egg donor arrangements are particular areas of interest and are frequently the topics of symposiums and workshops she is invited to give in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Serving as a consultant to numerous infertility programs throughout the tri-state area, Judith currently maintains a private practice in Montclair, New Jersey. She draws upon her postgraduate training as a psychotherapist and in behavioral medicine from the Mind/Body Institute at Harvard Medical School to provide a personalized approach to helping people cope with the challenges of fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, adoption, and parenting. Biography

Juergen Eisermann, MD, is the founder and Medical Director of IVFMD.  Dr. Eisermann, a graduate of the University of Munich School of Medicine, completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and reproductive medicine at Washington University in Saint Louis.

Dr. Eisermann is a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine.  Dr. Eisermann has been in private practice in South Florida since 1988.  He was the Medical Director of the first private medical practice IVF program in Dade County, as well as the Associate Director of the only reproductive surgery fellowship program in South Florida.  Dr. Eisermann is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
