Marie Davidson, Ph.D. is currently on staff at Fertility Centers of Illinois®. She has been involved in counseling prospective surrogates, donors, and patients for over 20 years. Dr. Davidson is a licensed clinical psychologist, having earned her doctoral degree at the University of Illinois.
For the last 10 years, she has concentrated on counseling individuals and couples who are coping with infertility. She facilitates patient education seminars on these topics, leads several support groups, is widely published in the fertility field and has been an invited speaker at many professional meetings.

Dr. Gvakharia is a Board Certified High Complexity Laboratory Director in Human Embryology and Andrology and is Director of Laboratory Services, Quality Assurance and Research of the IVF Embryology Laboratory. Dr. Gvakharia received her medical degree and endocrinology fellowship training, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Endocrinology and Clinical Immunology, from Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia, part of the former Soviet Union. She then had additional post doctoral training in endocrinology/andrology and served on the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Under Dr. Gvakharia’s direction, the Embryology Laboratory passed the CAP/ASRM accreditation inspection in March 2013 with ZERO deficiencies, for the sixth time in a row! Dr. Gvakharia publishes and lectures on sperm and egg interaction, micromanipulation of gametes and embryos, vitrification, and laboratory management and was elected by her peers to serve as President of the CRB/AAB (College of Reproductive Biology/American Association of Bioanalysts).

Dr. Perloe earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, Hershey Medical Center, and served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Perloe completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Minnesota and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As Medical Director of GRS, Dr. Perloe has expertise in treating conditions related to infertility including polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, menstrual disorders, fibroids, male fertility problems and endocrine and other reproductive health problems. He also has extensive experience in in vitro fertilization, the use of donor eggs, donor sperm, and gestational surrogacy.
Dr. Perloe has served as principal investigator in numerous reproductive health research studies including innovative IVF treatments, ovulation induction, polycystic ovary syndrome as well as investigational medications for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. He has published research in medical journals including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Southern Medical Journal, Human Reproduction and the International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1986, he co-authored Miracle Babies and Other Happy Endings for Couples with Fertility Problems. Dr. Perloe is the creator of IVF.com and is a frequent speaker at community and professional educational seminars including interactive webinars at Medigogy.com. He has served as consultant and a task force member to the Women's Initiative of the American International Health Association and was active in establishing the first approved endoscopy-training center in the former Soviet Union at the Russian National Institute of Women's Health.
