Lisa Schuman, LCSW is a psychotherapist who has been counseling individuals, couples and groups on a variety of issues and has specialized in reproductive medicine for over a decade. Ms. Schuman helps individuals through family building processes such as IUI and IVF, ovum and sperm donation, perinatal loss, single parent issues, gay and lesbian issues, oocyte cryopreservation, surrogacy and adoption.
She leads two Drop-In Support Groups, one focused on infertility treatment concerns and the other focused on third party reproduction, for both ovum donation and sperm donation recipients. She is also founding director of Adoption Cooperative Consultants, an adoption consulting group. Ms. Schuman is a frequent speaker and consultant for seminars, symposiums and television programs.
Ms. Schuman earned her graduate degree at Yeshiva University and studied psychoanalysis at the Greenwich Institute in Manhattan. She is also a supervisor and on faculty at the Object Relations Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She is a former board member and support group leader for the American Fertility Association and has been actively involved with many other infertility and adoption organizations. In addition, she is an active member of the Mental Health Professional Group for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and is Chair of the Oocyte Cryopreservation Task Force.
Liz Silverman–Platt has over four years of personal experience in the field of infertility. Lois Nachamie, MFA, LCSW, is a board-certified psychotherapist, couples counselor, and group leader in private practice in New York City, specializing in family and parenting issues. Dr. Timmreck received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago and her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess, Boston IVF, and Harvard Medical School where she was also a Clinical Instructor.
She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and an associate of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Weckstein received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Michigan having been accepted into the 6 year combined pre-medical/medical program. He completed his OB Gyn residency at the University of California, Irvine. He went back to the University of California, Irvine in 1988 for training in infertility with one of the most successful IVF teams in the country at that time.
Dr. Weckstein is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology and the Society for Reproductive Surgeons. Dr. Weckstein has particular interest and experience in all aspects of IVF, including Egg Donation and fertility in older women. He has authored more than 60 publications and abstracts in the field of infertility, and serves as a special reviewer for the infertility journal Fertility and Sterility.
