Dr. Cardone received his medical degree from Laval University in Quebec. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McGill University. By 1986, he completed training at the Port Royal University Clinic Unit in Paris, where he was part of the team that tested the intravaginal culture procedure (IVC).
He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Cardone is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). He is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the New England Fertility Society, and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society.

Wendy J. Schillings, MD, FACOG is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, obstetrician and gynecologist. She is the medical director at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Pennsylvania (RMAPA).

Dr. Schillings is Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at LVHN. She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School, completed her residency at Washington University in St Louis and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Maryland Medical System, Baltimore, Maryland. During her fellowship, she acquired extensive sub-specialty training in reproductive medicine and advance reproductive technology, while fine-tuning her skills in operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
Dr. Schillings has authored many publications and has lectured extensively. She was honored with the Golden Apple Medical Student Teaching Award and the APGO (Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics) Excellence in Teaching Award.

Dr. Hummel received his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and performed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center. He completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Fertility Society of Australia and numerous other local national and international organizations. Dr. Hummel frequently contributes to both national and international infertility and IVF publications.
William Meyer, M.D.

Dr. Meyer attended Washington and Lee University and received his M.D from the University of Virginia . He completed an OB/GYN residency at Emory University, then went to Yale University where he completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is board certified/recertified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
He has been a board examiner for those sitting for their OB/GYN certification. He has been voted, by his peers, as one of the “Best Doctors in America” from 2003-2013. He served for several years on the credentialing committee of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART)-the only national standard database for reproductive medicine practitioners.
Before co-founding Carolina Conceptions in 2006, he served as clinical director of the University of North Carolina’s IVF Program. He was on Faculty at UNC for 13 years. He founded and headed the UNC Assisted Reproductive Technologies Ethics Committee. He has a special interest and clinical expertise in: in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, ovulation induction, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and hysteroscopy. Dr. Meyer was President of the North Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (2011-2012).
Dr. Meyer has 3 sons; who attended Missouri, Duke, and Notre Dame. His wife is a pediatric oncology nurse at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Meyer plays tennis and is involved with Master’s swimming.
