Dr. Kessel is an Associate Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health, of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining the University of Hawaii, Dr. Kessel held faculty appointments at University of California San Diego, University of Cincinnati and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kessel is board certified in both OB-GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has published over 100 scientific articles, chapters, books and abstracts.
