The American Fertility Association introduces Online Education Modules. These PowerPoint presentations produced, hosted, and narrated by an all-star line up of fertility and adoption experts. The topics vary from Yoga and relaxation to donor oocyte and the male factor. For now, the presentations are absolutely free for you to view, so please take advantage of the opportunity during this introductory period. This new and innovative approach to fertility and adoption education provides the opportunity learn what you want, when you want, in the comfort and privacy of your home or office. Surgical Treatment for Male Infertility

Dr. Werthman is an assistant professor of urology at the USC Keck School of Medicine and was the former chief of urology at Century City Hospital. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated as the Valedictorian of his medical school class and achieved the highest score in the country on the National Medical Examiner’s Board Examination. He received three academic scholarships in medical school and won the Proctor and Gamble First Prize Resident Essay competition for his work in the field of gene therapy. He has edited a textbook on male infertility published by W.B.Saunders Co. and has authored original research that has been published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.  Dr. Werthman has also been a contributor to several popular fertility books including Stay Fertile Longer and Enhancing Your Fertility: A Couples Guide to Natural Approaches.

Dr. Steven Brenner, Co-Director of Long Island IVF is a highly published board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the New York University. Dr. Brenner was the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center from 1991-2008. Infertility Basics

A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Glatstein was a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital, and completed a fellowship through Harvard Medical School in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Glatstein also was a Fulbright Research Scholar in Reproductive Endocrinology.

Dr. Glatstein characterizes his treatment philosophy as being as non-invasive as possible. “When prescribing fertility treatment,” Dr. Glatstein states, “all things being equal, I always try to recommend the least invasive treatment for best results. Endometriosis and Infertility

Yoga for Fertility

Brenda Strong can be seen (and heard) as Mary-Alice Young, the all-knowing narrator of ABC’s smash hit “Desperate Housewives.” While Strong’s seemingly-perfect character committed suicide in the premiere episode, she starred in several flashback scenes as the mystery surrounding her death unfolded.

Strong is a certified yoga instructor who owns a studio in Los Angeles. She also produces and stars in a line of videos, “Yoga 4 Fertility,” designed to help infertile couples through yoga therapy. Additionally, she has taught at UCLA’s Mind-Body Institute.
