I am writing an article on donor offspring and need some statistics.

I need to know approximately how many children have been conceived via ART.

A 1967 Time Magainze article gives the number of 150,000 in 1967.

I read somewhere that over a million children were conceived via donor sperm but I can’t remember where I read that statistic.

Does anyone know where I can get that info?

I am the librarian who wrote the article in last month’s newsletter, “Librarians at a loss for helping donor offspring.”

Dear tovahsmom:
I would check out http://www.asrm.org and http://www.sart.org.  Lots of stats and information on those sites.

Best of luck,
