I am 39 years old and have been TTC for 2.5 years - I have completed 3 ivf cycles one resulted in a BFP but ended at 13 weeks with a m/c after hearing the heartbeat. I have heard that woman with PCOS should continue progesterone supplements throughout the 2nd trimester. I had the m/c within a few days of my RE stopping supplementation. I am hoping to do another IVF but want to be in the best of health prior.  What is the best protocall for me to follow due to my age and PCOS.

I am sorry for your loss.

The placenta should take over progesterone production by 8 weeks, any supplementation after is probably overkill.  Most m/c are not due to lower progesterone.

The safest course is simply to check the blood levels before and after stopping prog, to make sure they are OK.
Good luck.
