Egg donations are obviously needed in the LGBT community.  I keep reading all of this information about how the number of egg donations is going up, as women need some extra money because of the sluggish economy.  Is this really going on?  If so, could this actually be good for the current demand for egg donors?  Maybe this isn’t really going on and it’s just the media making something out of nothing.

The awareness of assisted reproduction technologies advances as more young women and men reserach the process of becoming egg and sperm donors.  The eligbility criteria is very strict and a even if the number of applicants increase over time the acceptance rate of who is a sutible donor remains the same from assisted reproduction specialist.

Becoming a donor is a significant commitment that I professionally do not see qualified sutible appicants taking lightly even if the financial compensation might look like an interesting benefit when they first considered it.
